  • Day 1 hire at a new start up, quickly became educated on Process Safety Management as all regulations and process guidelines for every process to be performed by an Explosives Technician was written by myself during the initial 6 months of employment.
  • Solely responsible for creating the plant's Emergency Action Plan including all signage and emergency shutdown procedures from scratch with no prior knowledge or experience
  • Responsible for the manufacturing and safe handling and storage of class 1.1 explosives including Lead Styphnate, Tetrazene, and TNR.
  • Constantly adapted to unexpected job circumstances including flying to other states on limited notice, learning technical writing to create procedures for the plant, and making supply runs in my own vehicle when materials had not been ordered in a timely manner.
