Aiyana Greene

Hi, I am Aiyana Greene from Sumter, South Carolina, currently enrolled at Newberry College in desire to pursue a Forensic Psych degree. I am looking for a part-time work-study position at Newberry College. I am a highly motivated employee with a desire to take on new challenges. Also, I have a very strong work ethic, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal skills. • I was born in Manning, South Carolina, but I was raised in Sumter, South Carolina, by my mom, who is also a single mom of four. My dad passed away when I was only one year old due to health reasons, so he wasn’t in my life as much as I needed him to be, but that is no one‘s fault; it was just what God had in my plan. I come from a very strong and beautiful family who has helped me become the young lady that I am today. I really hope that I get accepted for this scholarship because it has never been easy growing up. My family was not the richest, but we still made a way and continue to love each other as if we had zero problems in the world. I will be a first-generation college student in my family. My mom nor my dad attended college, so I plan to go to Newberry College, get my degree, and prosper in life and flourish into something beautiful. I plan to do great things in the world, and getting accepted for this job would just be one big step for me moving forward. Thank you for reading and taking me into consideration.
