Air Force special operations firefighting:
involves Airmen from special operations wings and civil engineer squadrons conducting advanced fire protection and hazardous materials (HazMat) responses in high-risk, global environments These firefighters complete rigorous training, including specialized medical skills, structural, aircraft, and HazMat firefighting, preparing them for unique challenges on Air Force bases and in deployed areas, as demonstrated by live fire simulations conducted by the 1st Special Operations Wing and 193rd Special Operations Wing
