• Manages the safe and efficient operation of the Tank Farm Facility in accordance with the DSA, TSR and DOE orders.
• Manages, plan, prioritize and coordinate work to achieve processing goals for salt processing, salt and sludge batch preparation, evaporator operations and waste removal operations.
• Manages approximately 150 shift and day personnel to meet facility objectives.

• Responsible for the overall safe operation of the facility and safety of all employees working in the facility during the shift.
• Evaluate abnormal and emergency facility conditions in accordance with facility procedures and emergency control plans while assuming responsibilities as the Facility Emergency Coordinator.
• Responsible for encouraging and providing education on a Nuclear Safety Culture where all workers understand and are comfortable in raising safety concerns, issues, or timeouts.
• Set the standards for the operation of the facility and enforce conduct of operations standards.
• Develop plans and path forward actions to address emergent shift needs because of failed equipment.

• Direct line management for shift operation activities such as evaporator operations, waste transfers, and startup and shutdown of facility equipment while maintaining disciplined operations.
• Promoted teamwork and while seeking continuous improvement.
• Communicated with operators and support organization to ensure safe facility operation were maintained.
• Served as the Incident Scene Coordinator for facility emergency events.
