In the Campus Billing department I maintained the group email for the department and answered phone calls from students and parents. Prior to this position I worked under Conifer in Florida for ten months in a different Credits department.
I started at DHMC in the phone room with customer service by phone calls and emails. After three years I transferred to the data entry department entering in charges from paper and from other systems. I was in this department for ten years and used several different systems like, Cerner and Epic, and Onbase and excel. I then transferred to provider enrollment department where I filled out paper applications and online documents for the Doctors to be enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid.
In 2015 DHMC outsourced all Revenue Management departments to Conifer Health Solutions.
