Work History

Nanny

Andrienne Mullen
08.2024 - 05.2025

As a nanny, I was to pick up the child from school and drive him home. I made sure to manage his time to play and do schoolwork. I kept him occupied for certain amounts of time by playing cards, games, etc. I would make him snacks and help him with his schoolwork. The child I nannied for was autistic, so I had to come up with creative ways to handle situations and remain patient. As a nanny, I was creative, patient, and good at scheduling and time management. I had a flexible schedule to stay late if that was needed or to help with other tasks.

Charcuterie Worker and Bar-back

The Belmont
03.2024 - 08.2024

For the Charcuterie part of this job, I was in charge of the food at the bar. I would receive the orders from the servers or bartenders and cook each of the orders. The orders consisted of charcuterie boards, flatbread pizzas, and puff pastry pop-tarts. I would organize my time to make sure each order was done in time and correctly. I would also keep my cooking station in order and clean throughout my shift. For the barback part of this job, I would work with the bartenders to make sure all of their sections were fully stocked with mixers, syrups, lemons, limes, juices, and dried fruits and vegetables. I would also be in charge of juicing fruit and vegetables for the drinks, stuffing olives, and drying the fruit. I made sure the ice was always filled for the bartenders. At the end of the night, I would take the trash out, do the dishes in the kitchen, as well as cleaning and polishing the glasses used at the bar. I would clean up my stations very carefully and make sure everything is restocked for the person coming in the next night.

After School Assistant

Porter Guad School
02.2023 - 12.2023

As an after-school assistant, I was in charge of watching kids until they were picked up by their parents. I made sure that each kid was in their correct after-school program and led them there on time. I would communicate with parents in carpool lines to figure out which child they were here to pick up, and make sure that they wouldn't wait long for their child to get to them. I played games with the children as well as resolved issues, fights, and arguments between them. I helped these kids with any problems, from getting injured to bullying on the playground. I was very involved in making sure that the after-school program was running smoothly and everyone was safe. I made sure to keep the kids occupied and having fun until their parents were there to pick them up.

Restaurant Hostess

Micheal Fabry
12.2020 - 05.2021

As a hostess, I was given a lot of responsibility. I demonstrated strong multitasking skills by handling telephone inquiries while attending to in-person guest needs seamlessly. I handled high-pressure situations gracefully, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm demeanor. I answered customer questions about hours, seating, and menu information, as well as maintaining an organized waitlist for busy times, ensuring efficient seating of guests. For a large part of my time at Rye Bar and Grill, I managed the outdoor seating, creating seating charts for people who called to make a reservation, dealing with any problems that occurred, and cutting servers from work. I would also assist with taking orders or bringing out food and drinks if it were busy.
