Read 20+ papers on medial arterial calcification; Contributed to ongoing study of medial arterial calcifcation by running quantative Polymerase Chain Reactions, extracting RNA, performing histology stainings of mouse and rat aorta, analyzing data, and presenting findings at weekly lab meetings; created many graphs using the data I collected from different experiments (e.g., effects of calcium and phosphate on calcification in Rat Aorta cells) and captured and analyzed images under the microscope of stained mouse aorta cells.
