Spring 2021-Fall 2021:

• Conduct tours for prospective Charleston Southern University students.
• Train new ambassadors entering the program.
• Lead and facilitate tours of over 20 people while providing campus information.
• Volunteer time and resources in order to help encourage prospective students to join our community.

- Student Nurse Extern in the operating room at Roper Hospital downtown Charleston.

- Observe the nursing role in the operating room

- Open sterile supplies for surgical procedures

-Receive report from preoperative nurse with preceptor and transport patient to operating room

-Assist in room turnover following surgical procedure

• Assisted with pace of wedding and reception through multitasking and liaising with vendors to carry out event as planned with little or no deviations.
• Provide the bride and groom with any request or needs they may have throughout their special day.

• Worked directly with physicians and patients.
• Directed patients to exam rooms, communicated patient questions and prepared patient's for physician examinations.
• Collected and documented patient medical information such as vital signs, blood glucose levels, and routine specimens.
• Scheduled referral appointments for patient's in need of further examinations.
• Communicated with insurance companies to ensure medical coverage for patients.
