Casey Holcomb

I am a very compassionate and dedicated employee with a strong passion for animal care and client support. I Completed a 4-month Veterinary Assistant Program at Horry Georgetown Technical College from 09/05/2023 to 12/12/2023, which included completing a required 40-hour internship checklist prior to earning certification as a BP Veterinary Assistant. Gained hands-on experience scheduling and appointing patient visits, greeting clients and patients, restraining animals safely during procedures, administering vaccines, running diagnostic tests, monitoring patient vitals, assisting with grooming services, and observing surgical procedures in a clinical setting. I am known for being a quick learner with strong hands-on skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments. Also, I am currently continuing education in the field of veterinary medicine with plans to pursue online schooling to become a licensed Veterinary Technician this fall. Although it has been some time since helping out in a Veterinary Office, I am confident that prior training and experience will quickly return once back in a clinical setting.
