For starters, I am extremely hard working and involved in my community. For example, I help out and assist with my church quite often. I volunteer to help out the smaller children in the nursery, I assist teachers in AWANA clubs, and I help out with other community related events. I also help out in my school-wide community through my membership in the National Honors and Beta club. I take my academic career seriously, and I have never once gotten anything lower than an A in any class. Throughout my high school career, I have taken numerous AP and dual enrollment courses, of which I have passed successfully. My goal is to attend the University of South Carolina (Columbia), where I will then study Computer Science. I have always been intrigued with computers, and the way people interact with technology. I have already taken multiple classes in Game design and Web design, in order to better understand the basics of a computer scientist. I currently have a part-time job at Traces Golf Course, where I help maintain the cleanliness of the golf carts and grounds. Having a part-time job has helped me learn how to manage my time efficiently, as well as my academic performance.
