  • My duties at RFP consist of installation of security systems, both hard wired and wireless connections, in residential and commercial properties
  • I am provided a company vehicle and travel all over the state of South Carolina
  • Some jobs are simply panel installation, running wire throughout the facility for basic security and others consist of whole home sound installation
  • I started with RFP not knowing much about the process and quickly worked my way up to lead technician
  • As lead technician, I am training new employees, teaching employees how to correctly install all systems and supervising their work so that they may independently be sent on install jobs.

  • As a mechanic apprentice, I was taught how to do many different jobs
  • I performed oil changes and tire repair/changes, basic shop duties, whole engine removal, repair and re-installation, light bulb changes, muffler repair and replacement, spark plug changes, troubleshooting engine repair, and any/all small jobs that were needed.

Fiberglass Fabricator

  • At Barrier Reef, I was part of a production crew that made fiberglass cars and parts for the 600 series racing
  • Using a grinder saw, I cut the individual parts out and smoothed any sharp edges
  • I also ran the chopper gun, rolled resin and fiberglass to form the mold, and used a cup gun to gelcoat the parts per color selection.
