Work History
Accounts Receivable Specialist
White Oak Management
01.2019 - Current
During my time with White Oak Management as an accounts receivable specialist I have developed a variety of skills. I have become proficient with billing insurance and VA claims. Once the claims have been paid or denied I am able to identify the reason for underpayment or denial, reach out to the processors and get the claims reprocessed and paid. My objective is to actively monitor payment status of claims, follow up with denials and errors in payment promptly and minimize outstanding balances.
I have been team lead/corporate liaison between SC Medicaid and our Business Office managers for Medicaid pending patients.
Became Resident Charge manager developing corporate program for resident charge approval entry, and invoice processing for 15 facilities. I have initiated and maintained relationships with radiology, lab and transport vendors. All resident invoices are processed, posted audited for accuracy and sent to Accounts payable from me.
I post VA, Medicaid cash payments monthly.
I am proficient on all vendor portals, claims management, word and excel programs
