As a cashier for the campus, I process all student payments, donations, or cash transmittals that need to be processed on a daily basis. This means I would process payments and apply the payment to the correct student account. When processing donations or transmittals, these funds would be posted to either a general fund or a restricted fund.
For one year, I processed donations through Raiser's Edge due to being short-staffed in Advancement.
I also schedule any building or rooms that we lease out to the public. This includes scheduling these facilities on the calendar for faculty and staff as well. When we leased college-owned housing to faculty and staff, I was responsible for a waiting list, contacting the individuals when a property was available, and obtaining a contract.
I am familiar with processing workers' compensation claims. I processed these claims for 20 years at Limestone University.
I have served as an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President and CFO of Limestone. I would attend board meetings, take notes, and then type the minutes. I would schedule appointments and keep the VP on task with his next meeting that was scheduled.
In the past, I used to have to read the printers, meaning I would go around to each department to see how many copies had been made each month, and give a report to the bookkeeper.
I also help clear students for the upcoming semester, process payments on the credit card machine, or online. I am very familiar with the use of an adding machine and key-10 typing. I am constantly entering numbers when processing payments, donations, or transmittals.
