
As a Recreation Assistant at Vintage View Adventures, I help guests have a safe and enjoyable experience while participating in activities such as tubing and kayaking on the Pacolet River. My responsibilities include greeting and checking in guests, explaining safety procedures, fitting life jackets, and distributing equipment. I assist with launching and retrieving kayaks and tubes, answer questions, and help maintain the recreation areas and equipment. I also support special events and work with other staff members to ensure daily operations run smoothly. Through this role, I develop strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while working in an outdoor environment.
As a Wofford College Ambassador, I lead prospective students and their families on campus tours while sharing information about academic programs, student life, residence halls, campus traditions, and opportunities available at Wofford. I answer questions, provide an authentic student perspective, and help visitors feel welcome and informed during their campus visit. I also assist the Admission Office with recruitment events, open houses, and other programs designed to introduce prospective students to the Wofford community. Through this role, I strengthen my public speaking, communication, leadership, and customer service skills while serving as a representative of the college.
As a Computer Lab Assistant at Wofford College, I monitor the computer and printing lab to ensure that students have access to a productive and well-maintained workspace.
