2013-2024

  • Completed Chinese Immersion program Kindergarten thru 10th grade.
  • Starting in elementary school, half of the day was taught in Mandarin and English. Math and science were taught completely in Mandarin.
  • The program continued through middle and high school completing courses in Chinese 1 through 5 honors.
  • Throughout the program, students learned about the language, history, and culture, Each year, the classes held a Chinese New Year celebration that included traditional dances and songs, creating decorations, and traditional food celebrating the culture throughout the week.
