I competed in SCHSRA ( South Carolina High School Rodeo Association) for three years in high school, and was an active member in the student body. I made it to State Finals all three years and finished in the top 4 in the state two years in a row. My senior year I qualified and competed in the High School Nations Finals Rodeo in Rock Springs, WY. Along the way out to Wyoming we made a stop in Shawnee, OK for the IFYR ( International Finals Youth Rodeo) where I finished in the top 15 in the second round out of over 275 teams.
