Summary

I was introduced to hip hop and jazz funk at eleven. In 2006, I cheered for the Newton Recreation Department and later served as an assistant cheer coach for the organization from 2007–2010, as well as for the Rockdale Youth Football Association from 2011–2012. From 2013–2016, I founded and led a dance team called Jag Illusion at Georgia State University’s Newton campus, where we specialized in hip hop, jazz funk, and majorette dance styles. After relocating from Georgia to Greenville, South Carolina, in 2020, I have continued to expand my training by taking adult hip hop, reggaeton, and Afropop classes at Viva Dance Fitness.
