Work History

Elementary Education Inclusion Teacher

Richland Two School District
Columbia, SC
01.2020 - 12.2025
  • I started working for Richland Two School District as a paraprofessional in a Behavioral (BSP) classroom with middle school students in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. Then I obtained my Bachelor's degree, and became a third grade general education inclusion teacher for the school district in the summer of 2022. I taught all core subjects (ELA, math, social studies, and science). I also taught the summer program, and the after school extended day program for 3 years. During this time I have developed not only working relationships with coworkers and administration staff, but with my parents of my students. I am patient and fair when it comes to teaching students regardless of their disabilities. I am able to manage classroom behavior by making sure my students are accepting of others, and also understand what my expectations are throughout the day. I accomplish this by modeling this behavior; as well. In addition, I make sure to differentiate instruction due to my students having multiple learning styles and abilities, and implement accommodations and modifications to fit students' needs.
