One of my favorite jobs I've ever had was definitely at the Palm Casual Factory Showroom. I handled customer orders, payments,repairs, and complaints. I assisted with the construction of furniture, staged and cleaned the showroom, cleaned outside displays, helped customers customize their furniture sets, wrote up customer orders, rang up purchases of $5000+, handled financial transactions, kept track of inventory and stock levels, scheduled deliveries, and more at this job.

• Greeted customers, helped locate merchandise, and suggested suitable options.
• I checked pricing, scanned items, applied discounts, and printed receipts to ring up customers.
• Engaged with customers to effectively build rapport and lasting relationships.
• Provided positive first impressions to welcome existing, new, and potential customers.
• Organized racks and shelves to maintain store visual appeal, engage customers, and promote specific merchandise.

I handled products within the warehouse swiftly, securely, and efficiently as a Fulfillment Center Team Associate in order to guarantee the appropriate processing of goods for our network of stores and our visitors. I had to keep my workspace tidy, organized, and clean so that I could handle and transfer goods securely, as well as help pack and ship things to our visitors. I was responsible for a variety of tasks, including carrying cartons and/or pallets physically to and from trailers, palletizing products for warehouse storage, and identifying, sorting, and repackaging products for individual handling. For this job, I had to carefully handle machinery like pallet jacks and order pickers.

• I worked safely around moving machinery.

As an AAFEES employee, I worked in both operations and hospitality. In addition to receiving orders and handling payments, my duties included answering the phone, refilling supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized front of the house. My favorite and most significant task as an AAFEES employee was serving our troops with accuracy and friendliness.
