- Developed and implemented an integrative movement protocol tailored for stroke patients at both an inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation clinic
- The protocol merged elements of occupational therapy with adaptive yoga, utilizing both of my qualifications as an occupational therapy student and registered yoga instructor
- Obtained approval from the Prisma Health Institutional Review Board (IRB) to conduct a mixed-methods research study evaluating the effectiveness of the integrative movement protocol on stroke recovery outcomes
- Throughout my14-week rotation at Roger C. Peace, I facilitated individual and group adaptive yoga sessions for patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injuries
