The protocol merged elements of occupational therapy with adaptive yoga, utilizing both of my qualifications as an occupational therapy student and registered yoga instructor
Obtained approval from the Prisma Health Institutional Review Board (IRB) to conduct a mixed-methods research study evaluating the effectiveness of the integrative movement protocol on stroke recovery outcomes
Throughout my14-week rotation at Roger C. Peace, I facilitated individual and group adaptive yoga sessions for patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injuries
