Kathy Sherbert

Retired teacher with a Master’s degree in education and 37 years experience in both elementary and middle school education, with the last 27 years being at Chesnee Middle School as a science instructor. In addition to science, I have taught all subjects at various grade levels, including eight summers teaching grades 5-12 ELA and math in the Summer Migrant Program. Since retiring in 2023, I have enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. I would now welcome the opportunity to return to the classroom in this substitute position to help give these students a good start to their school year and allow the permanent teacher to return to a well organized classroom where her students are prepared to move forward in their learning for the remainder of the year.
