• Finance Manager for a $575M government contract providing life support services for our client with cost plus and fixed price elements.

• Works directly with the Project Manager and project Contracting Officer on monthly financial reporting, estimates to complete, project modifications and all other financial projects relevant to the contract.

• Perform extensive review of all monthly labor and material costs relative to budgets and forecast. Analyze trend reports to ensure all costs have been captured in their appropriate functional areas and explain any changes and effects they may have going forward.

• Prepare and maintain our local national payroll and tax payments to local government. Prepare year-end reports for payments of employee PIT taxes and yearly Corporate registrations.

• Responsible for all cash (approx $1M) maintained countrywide at various locations. Maintain close contact with cash custodians to ensure the integrity of the cash funds are appropriately administered and back up is being kept in accordance to our corporate disclosure statements. Ensure all reporting from the down-range locations are both timely and accurate.

• Perform currency conversions and currency purchases to ensure the highest efficiency in spending (FX trades).

• Prepare for and support internal and external audits. Answer audit questions and remediation for all finance locations in Iraq.

• Assist with property audits of US Government materials. Verify purchased materials have been used or are currently on site.

Instrumental in establishing a “rolling close” to set a business rhythm that ensured deadlines were met and information available to the senior management.

• Maintain monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and work closely with Ernst and Young auditors for our yearly external audit. Throughout the year, work closely with our internal audit team to assure that the year-end external audit is a success by adhering to GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley as well as other governmental reporting requirements.
