Work History

Inspector Asociado De Produccion I,II,III

PPG
Piedmont
10.2023 - Current

• Inspection of Production – Level I: I conducted a visual inspection of boxes and parts on the ecoat shelf, identifying missing parts and applying light touch-ups with Scotch-Brite. I executed the calibration of the DFT meter, recording both the calibration and the corresponding readings. I identified and pointed out common defects using a China marker and yellow foam, and I removed masking when necessary.

• Production Inspection – Level II: I acted as the final inspector, performing performance tests such as wet adhesion, solvent testing, and rub testing. I identified rare defects in the ecoat process and specific defects according to client standards. I reviewed MITS and B10 labels, inspected packaging quality, and identified discrepancies. I applied touch-ups with fine sandpaper and identified defects in the Hemseal system.

• Production Inspection – Level III: I performed final verification duties on the shipping dock, ensuring compliance with all steps of the above process. I detected nonconformities in incoming raw materials and made minor adjustments using a DA sander. I also performed disassembly validations for internal shipments.

  • Used hand and power tools to perform operational and routine tasks.
