I am am currently a senior at the College of Charleston and am majoring in Elementary Education. I have experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. I have multiple classroom experiences learning about the cognitive development process of children and seeing the difference across a span of time. In a classroom setting, I strongly believe in giving opportunities to learn by oneself rather than through memorization and reiteration. One passion of mine is literature and how the human brain grows to comprehend different reading levels. My goal is to always keep a positive learning atmosphere whether it comes to myself or a classroom.
