Summary

I am a proven successful medical practice manager with over twenty-five years of management experience in the healthcare industry with multiple specialties to include Orthopedics, Urology, and Oncology. My experience includes management of physicians, nursing, and support staff with multiple locations. I have had the pleasure of opening new offices from the ground floor which entailed being involved in the budgeting, building, staffing, business licenses, DHEC approval for equipment, and all the other small details to create a profitable and successful medical practice. I am knowledgeable in the licensure process for new physicians and physician extenders joining the group from outside states and the credentialing process for insurance payers. I have great knowledge and hands on experience with revenue cycle management and enjoy being involved in that area of the practice. My expertise in the medical field is the ability to manage multiple locations while ensuring the best possible care for patients. I have been directly involved in managing the revenue cycle of a multiple physician office and successful in increasing revenue by capturing all billable charges, coding audits, and appeal processes. I have excellent rapport with physicians, hospital management, and other practice managers that I communicate with on a daily basis. I am professional in my relationships with work clientele, and if asked I would have to say my best attribute for my role is that I am diligent and trust worthy with confidential information and work very well under stressful situations. I work with minimal supervision and welcome new adventures in my career.
