• Managed all aspects of materials projects to ensure that each project is completed on time and within scope and budget while ensuring to implement the importance of safety.

Lab Duties:

• Assisted the Laboratory Coordinator in keeping the Soils and Materials lab run smoothly and efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure the best delivery for our clients.
• Assisted in keeping project managers informed deviations and any information important to each project.
• Performed proctor compaction testing, Atterburg Limits, hydrometer testing, fines content (%) wash testing using No. 200 sieve, gradations, specific gravity testing, compressive strength testing of concrete cylinders, grout prisms, and mortar cubes, CMRB mix design compaction testing and pill creation.

Field Duties:

• Performed Double Ring infiltration testing, infiltration testing using a MPD Infiltrometer, and identified seasonal high depth for the Geotechnical Department.
• Performed field concrete sampling and testing when cover was needed.
• Assisted in field data collection on Environmental Phase I projects.

• Coordinated with Field Technicians and Project Managers to ensure all field testing was covered for all projects each day.
• Dispatched field reports for all field testing via CMELMS Scheduler and performed trouble shooting for Field Technicians having trouble with Device Magic or CMELMS.
