Reverend Sterlin Hill's submission to God's will has transformed what was once a troubled childhood into divine salvation and a life dedicated to selfless servant stewardship. As one of this generation's most prolific communicators of the Gospel, his ability to deliver soul-saving messages that penetrate the hearts and minds of both youthful and seasoned believers is uniquely his own. To know Reverend Sterlin Hill is to be familiar with a devoted preacher of the gospel, beloved husband to Taja, adored father to Zuri Simone, Sterlin Jr. and Zacharius, sanctified psalmist, and generational barrier breaker. He is the former Pastor of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Enoree, South Carolina, and is unashamed to declare to the world by his life's living "… Eyes hath not seen, nor ears heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." 1 Corinthians 2:9. Pastoral Objective Vision

In scripture, Habakkuk 2:2 (KJV) challenges us to “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables that he may run that readeth it.” A plain “vision” is one, which is written in such a way that it can be easily understood and intelligently articulated. My objective as a leader in the Lord’s church is to be focused on the oneness of the bride of Christ (the Church) instead of the separation. My objective is to pastor while utilizing my experience, gifts and skills to equip a congregation of believers on how to establish a method that will advance God’s church in this 21st Century spiritually, socially and financially. We should understand that even though we serve in a Baptist denominational setting, we should not become disembodied of all biblical concepts such as tithing, water baptism, confessions of our faith, spiritual gifts and offices God has given to the church found in Ephesians 4:11. We as Baptist have a solid foundation concerning who it is that we are and what we believe. However, in keeping a solid foundation in our tradition as Baptist, we need to not compromise what it is that we do, but rather modernize what it is that we do in our task of reaching this generation of believers. With this ideology, we can bring this lost generation back to Christ through the preaching, teaching, and ministering of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the hopes of bringing peace into our homes, our communities and even bringing a sense of spirituality back into our school systems.
