Daily responsibilities included prepping cold stock for service, cooking food to order, and effectively expediting food for guests.
During the three years that I worked here I learned the importance of accuracy and speed when cooking food to order. I also learned different cooking methods for food preparation. I was given experience in cooking for large quantities of customers for buffet and plated dinner parties.
Job duties included creating a prep list every day and prepping cold and cooked product based on recipe. As well as tossing pizza dough during service and ensuring that pizza orders were made correctly and efficiently. Good communication was an important part in leading an effective team.
Filled vending orders in a warehouse for delivery by truck to different vending locations. This job required the ability to read orders and pick drinks from the warehouse quickly. I learned the importance of speed and accuracy in filling orders.
