Summary

I have worked in Special Education since 1992. Most of my years have been spent at North Myrtle Beach High School. I chaired the Special Education Department from 1998 until 2003. Then again from 2005 until 2008. I am presently co-chair since 2023. I have earned a Masters Degree in Educational Science with a focus in Specific Learning Disabilities. Over the decades I have developed, improved, and maintained many skills. I am strong in interpreting relevant data and developing a cohesive Individualized Education Plan. I am able to work with my colleagues on content and Individualized Education Plan Development. I am able to assist with student and teacher scheduling within the special education department. I build strong connections and rapport with my students. I am able to research and design targeted instruction and interventions for my students.
