- Create permits for alarm, tents, kitchen suppressions, and sprinklers for local businesses
- Maintain inspections schedule for Fire Inspectors
- Maintain and organize meetings for staff members
- Prepare payroll
- Check in commercial plans for the City of Charleston
- Call local businesses to schedule fire and life safety inspections
- Maintain Purchase order card for the Fire Chief
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Assist with training for new hires
- Update City website
- All other duties as assigned.
